Namun saya beruntung karena pada kunjungan saya tahun 2011 ke Emirates, saya mendapat kesempatan untuk duduk di kursi airplane pilot dan mencoba mengoperasikannya, tentu dengan perhatian dan pengawasan khusus. Rasanya sangat luar biasa, berbeda dengan simulator di mall karena lebih nyata (dan memang merupakan simulator asli untuk preparation pilot). Selain itu, simulator ini juga dapat memperagakan berbagai situasi misalnya jika terjadi hujan, ataupun badai dengan pergerakan yang menyerupai jika situasi asli terjadi.
