so if you trying to figure out what tosee in dubai if you had one day only then this is the right video for youbecause today i'm going to show you the city. we are passing through the dubaicreek, the burj khalifa, the dubai fountain and the dubai marine. so dubai come in up.let's go explore. i decided to go with metro from the airport.
Dubai Creek, so i bought a nol cardthat was 25 dirhams, that was mainly enough for today. one trip was around 5 dirhamsand if the car runs out, i could refill at any stations. here in dubai the metro goes overground
and you get fantastic view to the city. you know dubai is huge.so one trip can be 10 minute or long, but you can enjoy the view. find more information about the nol cardin the link description below. my first stop was the burj dubai souk. for here get off from the metroat burjuman or al fahidi station. the souk is an old looking one but youknow this is traditional here. colorful textiles, carpets and many more you canfind between the nice buildings. the city is not so oldbut many museums and old buildingscan be found nearby.
some minutes from herre is the dubai creek.so i went to the pier to get an on abra. this a wooden boat that takes tripsbetween the two sides of the river. i used the nol card here.yes you can do also for 1 dirham only. the length of the trip was around 5 to 10 minutes.but it was very nice very good and very funny. so i think you should try alsobecause it is totally worth to spend that time. when we stoped at banyinas station i foundthe camel of dubai and nice boats. so i took some picture you may sawon my instagram before. then i head up to the dubai mall andwhen i get off from the metro i found myself in a very long air-conditioned pedestrian bridge.
just imagine! from the station to the mallwas around 15 minutes by walk. so quite long but outside was hot weather and inside was perfect. inside the mall you can find cinemas and nice spots like this waterfall. also here is the famous ice rink. so you can take rounds on it, and the most fabulous and largest everunderwater zoo called aquarium. not mention the shops and the souk thatis a really nice arabic stylish bazaar.
if we go outside here is the tallest building of the world. yes the burj khalifa. next to a lake that has a fountain in it. i plan to see the showin the evening so i had up to dubai marine and took a 90 minute long speedboat tour that was 280 dirhams. please find the link in the description below. we got a tour guide who knew everything about the buildings and celebrities wholives in which place so we get the wow feeling
when we left the harbor the boat speeded up,gives more adrenaline. just really loved. when we passed the palm jumeirah,we stopped at the hotel atlantis just for taking picture, selfies, you know. i mention here that we arrived beforesunset you can see in the video so if you would like to have the best lights then plan your trip before sunset. then we speeded up again to see the burj al arab. this is the one and only seven star hotel in the world and it shaped like the sail.
we wait some minutesfor the sunset for the nicest lights. don't miss it!plan to arrived to the harbour one hour before sunset. when we arrived back tothe harbour we get a nice blue hour. if you would like to see nice city lights hereit's worth to take around. next stop was the dubai fountain.as i mentioned i planned for the night because of the mysteriousr lights of theburj khalifa and the fountain itself. you can miss it, because the show startsevery half an hour after 6pm to 11pm. the view can be good from the souk al bahar bridge but i think it's better to go upstairs in the dubai mall.
